KMK Fabrics - KMK Vinyl

My name is Kate. I grew up in Southern Alberta, Canada.  My mom owned a fabric shop.  This was when good fabrics were hard to find and quilts were made thick and heavy.  Growing up I spent many days sitting under a quilt on frames watching TV as the quilt took up the entire living room.  Many quilts were made up of old pants and shirts or scraps from the dresses mom sewed for us. 

I now live in Southern Utah and have a family of my own and also enjoy quilting.  Of course with 5 small kids it is hard to find enough time to put one together. I also love buying fabric and this business was a great excuse to buy lots of nice fabric.  Fabric selections have changed since my mom owned her store.  The great quality fabrics and color choices are amazing.  I am able to sell great quilt shop quality cottons at great prices and have picked a great thread company to supply both your longarm, domestic sewing and embroidery machines as well as some great hand quilting threads. 

I have also added custom vinyl lettering for home decor.  Vinyl lettering is an excellent way to decorate your home as you can put it on walls, glass, tile, mirrors, wood and practially any other smooth surface.  When you want to remove it, simply warm with a blow dryer and peel off.  Great way to add your personal touch to your home.
